Although the oats and oat flour we’ve used have always been gluten free, we know many gluten free customers prefer to avoid oats altogether. With that in mind, we’ve been updating some of our products to make them more accessible to everyone.
Unfortunately, it’s pretty difficult to tweak the recipe for a product called Totes Oats and make it oat-free - so it’s time for us to say goodbye to it.
While there's no like for like replacement for Totes Oats, we can recommend either:
- Super Sourdough Loaf - By some way our most popular loaf, and for good reason. Delicious, tart, with a firm crisp crust.
- Totally Seeded - Rich, soft and full of texture, this loaf offers a deep, earthy flavour.
We bake every order fresh to order rather than keeping bread sitting in a warehouse, so it arrives at its best. Please allow up to 5 working days for dispatch, with delivery usually the next working day after dispatch via DPD.
Mainland UK delivery starts from £4.50 and is free on orders over £35. We also offer DPD Local Pickup for £3.75, and store collection is available from our South London bakery.

Frequently asked questions
Our fresh sourdough bread is handmade to order, so please allow 5 working days from purchase. Your bread is baked fresh and posted, for next day delivery via DPD. If you provide a mobile number and email address, DPD will send you a delivery window on the day of delivery.
Delivery is free on orders over £35 (excludes Highlands & Islands). Standard delivery is £4.50, while orders under £10 cost £5.99. Deliveries can also be made to a DPD Local Pickup location near you for £3.75.
Please note: Subscriptions are excluded from DPD Local Pickup.
Yes, you can freeze the bread for up to 3 months. Defrost at room temperature or place in the oven for 10-15 minutes to serve warm.
