Delivery
How long will my order take?
Our fresh sourdough bread is handmade to order, so please allow 5 working days from purchase. Your bread is baked fresh and posted, for next day delivery via DPD. If you provide a mobile number and email address, DPD will send you a delivery window on the day of delivery. Please note, orders may take longer to dispatch during peak times such as Christmas, Easter, and bank holidays.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free on orders over £35. Standard delivery is £4.50, while orders under £10 cost £5.99. Deliveries can also be made to a DPD Local Pickup location near you for £3.75.
Can I request a specific delivery date?
If you'd like a specific delivery date, please add it as a note in your order. We will do our best to accommodate you, and if it's not possible we will get in touch.

Cancellations & Returns
Can I cancel or amend an order?
You can cancel or amend baked goods orders up to the day of baking. Please get in touch if you need to make any changes to your order.
Can I return unwanted items?
We want you to love every bite, but if something’s not quite right, here’s the quick guide:
- Baked goods & mixes – Because they’re fresh and perishable, these can’t be returned. You can cancel baked goods orders up to the day of baking.
- Stuff you can’t eat – For most non-perishables, you can return within 14 days of receiving them. Just let us know and pop them back to us (unused, in original packaging).
- Damaged or wrong items – Contact us within 48 hours (with a photo if you can). We’ll sort a replacement or refund, fast.
- Subscriptions – You can swap, pause, or cancel anytime through your subscription account. Cancellations and refunds follow the same rules as above.

Ingredients
Are you breads and mixes suitable for coeliacs?
Yes, everything is produced in a completely gluten free environment to avoid any cross-contamination.
Are your mixes suitable for vegans?
Yes, they are! All our mixes and many of our baked products are suitable for vegans. Please check the ingredients of the fresh bread before ordering.
Are your mixes free from the 14 major allergens?
Yes, they are! All our mixes and many of our baked products are free from all 14 major allergens. Again, please check the ingredients of the fresh bread before ordering.
Do the mixes contain yeast?
No all our mixes are bakers yeast free, and are made from real sourdough starter.
Storage
Can I freeze the bread?
Yes, you can freeze the bread for up to 3 months. Defrost at room temperature or place in the oven for 10-15 minutes to serve warm.
How do I keep my bread fresh?
Our bread has no preservatives, so will keep like any artisan bread. Once cut open, keep in the packaging for freshness.
Baking Mixes
What should I use to line my baking tray?
We recommend that you use baking parchment/paper, because greaseproof paper will stick to the dough. If you are not using baking parchment, place the dough on a non-stick baking tray.
My dough mix looks wet, have I done something wrong?
No, not at all! Gluten free dough will not look like wheat-based dough. It should be quite wet and have a similar consistency to thick porridge.
What happens if I don’t add the correct amount of water?
If you add too much water, you’ll find it difficult to shape the dough, and the bread will be very wet in the centre after baking. Too little water will result in a very hard crust, and the bread won’t rise well.
Why is my bread so wet inside?!
This usually happens if your loaf is slightly under baked. It can also be caused by inaccurate oven temperature. You can try increasing your oven temperature by 10°C. It’s also important to let the baked bread stand until cool before cutting, which will allow the bread to stabilise and the extra moisture to leave the bread.
