Delivery Information & Opening Times
Your bread journey
When you place an order, the team work hard to dispatch your order as soon as possible. As we are a low waste bakery, your sourdough's are made from scratch using our unique sourdough starters, and then they are baked when ready. We then pack your freshly made bread, and it's picked up by our courier that day. It's then delivered the very next day, UK wide! (Please note some remote postcodes require 2 day delivery). This is why it takes a couple of days from you placing your order to receiving it. Here is a little more information on when you can expect your order depending on the day you order:
Monday orders are usually delivered on Wednesdays
Tuesday orders are usually delivered on Thursdays
Wednesday orders are usually delivered on Fridays
Thursday orders are usually delivered on Tuesdays (we are closed over the weekend)
Friday orders are usually delivered on Tuesdays
We always do our best to deliver earlier if possible. You can also request a specific delivery day by letting us know in the notes section of your order. You can also arrange collection on a specific day, from our Peckham Rye kitchen.
Occasionally, your orders may be a day later if it's an extremely busy period.
Shelf Life & Freezing
As we use no preservatives in our breads, they don't have a long shelf life. The sourdough has a natural acidity and a lower pH than many breads, and this acts as a natural preservative, keeping the bread fresher for longer. You can expect a 3-5day shelf life from receipt, on your breads. If you plan to freeze the bread, we suggest you do this on the day you receive it. Our baking kits will usually have a minimum 6 month shelf life on delivery.
